one of my favorite weekends of the summer

this weekend is lollapalooza weekend in chicago, which brings about lots of good music, good parties, and good times.

last year was the crazy throne of blood party at green dolphin, which brought out colin, rob, m.i.a., daft pank, kavinsky, sebastian, and many others. it also left lisa and i trying to kick down the door to her apartment at 5 in the morning.

flashback:

this year chicago's scene does it up with mano, mic terror, he say/she say, hollywood holtt playing parties all over the city.

also, can't forget the solemates 1 year anniversary parties. hit up the solemates store in lincoln park on saturday for some mingling from 7-11pm and congratulate autumn and brian on a great year.

we now return to our regularly scheduled programming

i have recently been really slacking in updating the site. the reason is: pittsburgh, where i work mon-thurs every single week. my schedule has been thrown off, to say the least. i promise to keep the posts coming consistently again from now on.

shouts to the following for accommodating me in my travels, i don't know what i would do without you: southwest airlines, starwood hotels (westin and sheraton), westin workout gym, poindexter the shuttle driver, american united cab, tonic room, the highmark cafeteria (breakfast is the most important meal of the day)

here are a few pictures of pittsburgh and some of the views from my rooms. i promise more pittsburgh posts as i spend over 50% of my week here.

pittsburgh strip district (no, not a strip club district)

lots of ketchup is made here

lots of bridges are here (and apparently no tequila)

yeah, they go in two separate bins (no shouts to the TSA)

there's a lot of churches which are used for other things, for example, clubs (post on that coming soon)
